On May 15, the ARC received a courtesy visit from the newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador to Japan, Ms. Christine Iglum. After an overview of the ARC by the vice-director Professor Uto, Prof. Sugiyama (Center for Low Temperature Science), Dr. Podolskiy (ARC), and Dr. Ohnishi (ARC) gave a presentation on their research activities and highlights. ARC Faculties discussed future events and cooperation with the Ambassador Ms. Iglum, Ms. Marianne S. Berg, Counselor for Science, Technology, and Higher Education, and Ms. Yoko Nakashi, Cultural and Public Relations Officer.
