Mr. Saki Yoshida, conducting field research under the Overseas Fellowship Program of the ArCS III project has sent a messeage about her field survey.

Hokkaido University under the Project “Arctic Challenge for Sustainability (ArCS III)” supports the development of seven (7) young resources in Arctic research this year.
Ms. Saki Yoshida from Graduate School of Medicine, Tohoku University has conducted a survey aiming at developing a healthcare program using a participatory approach in Alaska Native communities, from August 24 to September 8 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Ms. Yoshida has sent the message at her return that “I have visited Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Nome in Alaska, conducting surveys about cases of community participation and collaboration. I will learn more about the increasing needs of community participation and contribute the outcome in Japan.”
