Today, we had the honor of meeting Theressa de Haan, First Secretary (Political) at the Embassy of Canada, to exchange ideas and information. Our discussion covered a wide range of topics, including research and education at the Hokkaido University Arctic Research Center, upcoming international seminars, and collaboration between Japan and Canada on Arctic-related matters, as well as broader issues of Arctic geopolitics.
