To graduate students interested in the Arctic:
Hokkaido University offers a special lecture series, “Special Lecture on Arctic and Antarctic Science II,” for graduate students interested in polar regions. The lectures are conducted in English by leading international researchers. As part of the ArCS-3 Arctic project, we are supporting online participation for master’s and doctoral students in Japan.
Lecture Schedule:
September 14th – October 2nd, 2026 (13 lectures + student presentation seminar)
Target Audience: Master’s and doctoral students in Japan
Lecturers are from: Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, University of Bremen, University of Southeast Alaska, University of Virginia, Hokkaido University
Participation Fee: Free (The ArCS-3 project will cover the tuition fee)
