Special Course on Antarctic Science III(Course for Field Skills)will be held as follows:

Date and Time:April 15(Wed.)16:30~

Venue:Room D201, Graduate School of Environmental Science

Lecturers:Kazuo Higuchi(Formerly National Institute of Polar Research, member of the 50th, 52nd, 57th, and 64th Japanese Antarctic Research Expeditions (wintering teams))

   Kazuki Nakamura (National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience)

   Shin Sugiyama, Takayuki Shiraiwa and others (Institute of Low Temperature Science / Graduate School of Environmental Science)

We will be joined by faculty members with extensive experience in polar and Antarctic research,

as well as instructors with experience in both mountaineering and Antarctic fieldwork,

to provide essential knowledge and skills for fieldwork.

We welcome participants who are engaged in field-based research in graduate studies,

as well as those who are interested in outdoor activities.
