As part of the ArCS-III Arctic Research Enhancement Project for Young Researcher Training and Education, International Sea Ice School at Lake Saroma by the International Research Group on Material Circulation Research between Snow Ice and the Atmosphere (BEPSII, CIce2Clouds,
CATCH). The School is organised by the international research groups BEPSII, CIce2Clouds and CATCH. The School is aimed at postgraduate students from Japan and abroad, and will include lectures, practical training on ice, sample analysis and data analysis over 10 days, with participation by national and international researchers specialising in observation and modelling of the polar atmosphere, snow cover, sea ice and oceans.
