Assoc. Prof. Jorge García Molinos (Arctic Research Center) was listed by the Instituto Choiseul España, a respected think tank for international politics and geoeconomics, in their publication “Choiseul 100 Global: Españoles en la economía del conocimiento 2026” (in Spanish, Choiseul 100: Spaniards driving the knowledge economy 2026; available from https://instituto.choiseul.es/choiseul-100/) as one of the 100 Spanish academics and researchers conducting their professional activity overseas with a significant contribution to the global knowledge-based economy in 2025. According to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), knowledge-based economies are defined as “economies which are directly based on the production, distribution and use of knowledge and information.”
