Report from Greenland and Denmark by Assoc. Prof. Podolskiy

Meetings with Danish colleagues in the Copenhagen area
On October 23-27, Assoc. Prof. Podolskiy stayed in the Copenhagen area to meet scientists and present his work at key institutions engaged in Greenlandic research. This included visits, seminars, and discussions at the Arctic Research Center of Aarhus University, Marine Mammal Research of Aarhus University, the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), and finally, the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR) located in the Greenlandic Representation in Copenhagen. Thanks to these meetings continued collaboration and new joint projects are expected in the fields of seismo-acoustics and marine-animal research.


Presentation and research visit in Greenland
Assoc. Prof. Podolskiy gave a talk at the Greenland Science Conference in Nuuk. This bi-annual meeting is a key event for researchers studying Greenland. Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Podolskiy stayed in Nuuk for two weeks as a visiting researcher at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR).
