Kone Foundation funding to project led by Associate Professor Saunavaara (HU ARC)

Kone Foundation (Finland) decided to award a grant of 179,100€ for a project “Tietoliikenneinfrastruktuuri, aika, yhteisö ja arktinen ympäristö (Telecommunications infrastructure, time, community and the Arctic environment)” led by Associate Professor Juha Saunavaara, Hokkaido University Arctic Research Center. This three-year project (2023-2025) is implemented by a research team including members also from University of Lapland Arctic Centre, University of Oulu, and UiT the Arctic University of Norway.
