Mr. Masaki Yamano from HOKKAIDO UNIVERSITY FISHERIES SCIENCES is currently conducting field research from 5th August to 8th September with the aim of understanding the current state of environmental situation surrounding mussels in the coastal community of Greenland.
We have received a firsthand message from Mr. Yamano in Greenland stating, “I am currently conducting research on mussels and their surrounding environment in Qaanaaq located in the northwest of Greenland. It is a very good experience, as I experience a natural environment and culture that are different from Japan. I will continue to do my best while paying attention to security and my health.”
