Dr. Sei-Ichi Saitoh, Professor Emeritus and former Director, received the Hokkaido Science and Technology Award in the award presentation ceremony held in the Century Royal Hotel Sapporo on February 14, 2023. His title of award is “Development and the spread of systems supporting smart fishery using satellite remote sensing”. The Hokkaido Science and Technology Award is the prize that Hokkaido confers on the achievement which there was as the governor commendation for promotion of the right way industry, development promotion of the economic society including the improvement of the people of Hokkaido life.
