From the Science Council of Japan, Dr. Koichi Hishida, vice president, Mr.Akiteru Mikami, chief of the secretariate and Mr.Kenji Oyama, secretariate visited Arctic Research Center, Hokkaido University (ARC HU) on 4th November 2021. After the brief introduction of ARC HU, an exchange of opinions was conducted concerning various topics such as securement of human resources and research funds, improvement of an international presence and further collaboration between universities and national research institutes.
