Niina Väisänen, Embassy of Finland, Tokyo (First Secretary, economic and trade policy) and Inka-Liisa Häkälä, Business Finland, Tokyo (Advisor) visited Hokkaido University Arctic Research Center on Friday, October 8, 2021. The short introduction of HU ARC activities and existing international networks was followed by a lively discussion concerning the possibilities to strengthen the already tight cooperation between Japan and Finland on issues related to the Arctic.
