The “Snow and Ice Field Course in MOSHIRI” is held annually as a core subject in the Hokkaido University Antarctic Studies curriculum, but for the 2025 practical training, in collaboration with the ArCS-3 Arctic Research Strengthening Project, we have opened up participation slots to graduate students outside Hokkaido University and practitioners!
This will be a valuable opportunity to conduct field observations of snowfall, snow accumulation, and cold weather in Moshiri, one of Hokkaido’s snowiest areas.
