During her visit, Professor Uto Shotaro provided an introduction to the Hokkaido University Arctic Research Center, followed by presentations from Associate Professors Evgeniy Podolskiy, Takafumi Hirata, and Juha Saunavaara, who highlighted recent and ongoing research at HU ARC.\u3000First Secretary Guilbault discussed Arctic cooperation between Canada and Japan from the embassy\u2019s perspective.
