She met with researchers from IARC and gave a talk on her work on Arctic marine biodiversity and climate change. Prof. Masahide Kaeriyama also gave a talk on Japanese chum salmon dynamics during the hybrid seminar. From February 8-9, she participated on the Alaska Forum on the Environment (AFE) held at the Dena&#8217;ina Civic and Convention Center, Anchorage, Alaska. She was one of the panelists for the workshop on `Observing for Community Decision Making\u2019 on February 9th, where she presented an overview of Japan\u2019s ongoing studies on the Arctic biodiversity and salmon.
