To graduate students interested in the Arctic:<\/span><\/p>\n

Hokkaido University offers a special lecture series, “Special Lecture on Arctic and Antarctic Science II<\/strong>“, for graduate students interested in polar regions. The lectures are conducted in English by leading international researchers. As part of the ArCS-3 Arctic project, we are supporting online participation for master’s and doctoral students in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lecture Schedule:<\/strong>
S<\/span>eptember 14th – October 2nd, 2026 (13 lectures + student presentation seminar)
<\/span>Target Audience:<\/strong> Master’s and doctoral students in Japan
<\/span>Lecturers are from:<\/strong> ETH Zurich, Univ. Bremen, Univ. Southeast Alaska, Univ. Virginia, Hokkaido Univ.
<\/span>Participation Fee:<\/strong> Free (The ArCS-3 project will cover the tuition fee)
