The Arctic Research Center has held the Meeting of PIs & Sub PIs for each Research Themes under ArCS III Projecton on Thursday, November 13, 2025 with the aim of understanding the progress of research and promoting collaboration among the Research Themes within Hokkaido University. <\/span><\/p>\n

PIs & Sub PIs are from Graduate shcool of Environmental Science, Slavic -Eurasuab Research Center , <\/span>the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences, and Field Science Center for Northern Biosphere of Hokkaido University.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, presentations were made on the research progress of “ArCS III”, “Career Development,” “Climate Disaster “, “Governance”, “Coastal Community” and “Biodiversities”. Discussion went on the possibility of collaboration among the Research Themes. For the way forward, the agreement has been made that the center would play the role for not only as coordibnation of ArCS III Project but also as a hub for Arctic research for collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n
